Leap year
2024 is an uni-year. 2024 is expected to feature 366 rather than 360 days. This adds a day on the calendar in order to make up the missing day. Academic year
Previously, the academic year began in September and finished in October at the beginning of the month. The new schedule permits the school year to start in August 2023 or September 2023 and to conclude in October 2024 or November 2024. In 2024, the academic calendar will be in October or Nov without a major pandemic. In the next years it is possible that the same cycle could be repeated. In 2025 the academic calendar will be in January and October.
