The academic year previously began in September and ended at the end of October. The new schedule will allow for the academic year to start in the month of August or September 2023, and finish in either the month of October or November 2024. 2024’s academic year will once again start in October/November, and there should not be any major outbreaks. The cycle may repeat itself in subsequent years. In 2025 the academic year will begin in January and end in October.
