Leap Year
2024 is a leapyear. Instead of 360 days, the year 2024 will have 366. To compensate for the lost day the calendar will have 366 days instead of 360. Academic year
Previously, the academic year began in September and finished at the start of October. The new schedule allows for the academic year to begin in August or Sept 2023, and finish in either Oct or Nov 2024. The academic year 2024 will again start in October/November, and there should not be any major pandemics. The cycle may repeat in subsequent years. In 2025, the academic calendar will begin between the months of January and October.
